刘女士的遗嘱(英文版)
Last Will and Testament of Mrs. Liu
I, Mrs. Liu, of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make, publish, and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all former wills, codicils, or other testamentary dispositions made by me at any time heretofore.
First: I direct that all my just debts, funeral expenses, and the expenses of the administration of my estate be paid as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
Second: I give, devise, and bequeath all my estate, real, personal, and mixed, of whatever kind and wherever situated, including all property over which I may have power of appointment, unto my beloved spouse, Mr. Liu, if he shall survive me; and if not, then to my children, equally, share and share alike. Should any of my children predecease me, leaving issue surviving, such issue shall take the share their parent would have taken if living.
Third: I hereby nominate, constitute, and appoint my beloved spouse, Mr. Liu, to be the executor of this my Last Will and Testament. If he shall predecease me, or for any reason shall fail or cease to act, then I nominate, constitute, and appoint my eldest child, [Name of Eldest Child], to be the executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
Fourth: I hereby authorize and empower my executor, in their absolute discretion and without the necessity of obtaining any order of any court, to sell, mortgage, lease, or otherwise dispose of any part of my estate, real or personal, at public or private sale, and to execute and deliver such deeds, conveyances, or other instruments of transfer as may be necessary or advisable in the premises, without liability for loss occasioned thereby.
Fifth: I direct that my executor shall not be required to furnish any bond or security in any jurisdiction in connection with the performance of any duties hereunder.
Sixth: I hereby expressly waive any requirement that my will or the probate thereof be supervised or approved by any court.
Seventh: In the event that any provision of this will is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed to be excised from this will, and the remainder of this will shall remain in full force and effect.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this ____ day of ____, 20__.
